I've signed up for the National Marathon in DC

last year there were about 1400 marathon finishers and 2600 1/2 marathon finishers, so much smaller than the marine corps but you still get to see all the sites of DC.

Good for you! I can't believe you are doing one AGAIN but, actually, I CAN believe you are doing one AGAIN!
I'm not ready, nor interested in a marathon...until one of my gal pals from my elementary school days suggested the Columbus Marathon (Ohio). She said she might do it...and well, I am considering _that_ one...we'll see. I'm still trying to convince her to go for the half instead...:-)
